Coral Maya Stay Suites

My family has been coming to Mexico for nearly 30 years, and the hospitality I received here at Coral Maya was the VERY BEST I have encountered. I seriously was amazed at the kindness from our host Alessandra. To say she went above and beyond is an understatement. She is incredibly giving, attentive, kind, and was always there whenever we needed, providing us with assistance even beyond what we expected. Coral Maya and Alessandra made our stay a memory that will be remembered forever. It was my first time staying here and I will definitely be coming back, perhaps each time I visit Riviera Maya. My favorite part is having access to the inlet which connects to the ocean. We were provided the free, unlimited use of kayaks/paddleboard anytime we wanted (try to get that at an all-inclusive hotel, impossible!). We would kayak every day on the inlet towards the beach. We saw TONS of marine life, including octopus, eels, beautiful tropical fish we could snorkel with. The water temperature was GORGEOUS, warm even in the end of December. We accessed the beaches at Catalonia resort and Dreams resort, which are side by side hotels which have amazing beaches (the beaches have big rocks surrounding the water, creating wonderful, calm bays to easily swim in, my FAVORITE kind of beach!). We were allowed to use the beaches at these resorts and were never told to leave, as beaches are public property. As for the rooms, I really appreciated having the kitchen and appliances, so we didn't have to eat out at all if we didn't want to. There is a grocery store just outside of the neighborhood (Puerto Aventuras) along with small ones in the downtown area of Puerto Aventuras. Along with that, downtown has a bay to swim with dolphins but we loved being able to walk there and watch them doing tricks and playing during the day and resting at night. It was incredible to eat at a restaurant with a view of the dolphin bay. We love Puerto Aventuras!! We especially liked the "caleta" (another inlet) that the Coral Maya team member showed us, another wonderful spot for snorkeling and swimming, with another great bay with calmer ocean water due to the surrounding rocks in the water. Overall, this was a magnificent stay, and I will definitely be coming back soon!

We had a nice vacation in this secure and beautiful area and a comfortable stay in this affordable condo/hotel. Saul was very professional and helpful and assisted with any concerns that arose. The staff were all great. There is a small beach within a few minutes of walking distance and a nice and big outdoor pool open until 10pm.

If you are expecting an apartment like hotel this place is great. Better than expected. For the affordable price. Clean big rooms. Comfy big beds, with crisp sheets and towels. Friendly staff, short walk to everything, fun time in the pool and using the kayaks around the lagoon. It was perfect for my family we cooked breakfast in every morning with the well stocked kitchen. And we rented a golf cart to get to the beautiful big beach and restaurants

This was great for the price we paid! The 2 bedroom was almost like a 3 bedroom because of the folding doors to close off the sofa trundle bed. Pros: The kids loved the pool. The lagoon was beautiful and we loved the access to the kayak (only one available at the time). The location is great and safe. We loved Puerto Aventuras! Walk 3 minutes to a gorgeous beach. Cons: The air conditioning took a while to cool the place down. The buildings, pool, and game room are old and a little run down. Our friends room had ants. But we would totally stay there again for the price and location!

Coral Maya Condo is a very nice accommodation. Really spacious inside. The salt water pool is to be found on one side of the condo, 5 minute walk to the sea. I would really recommend coral maya. The hotel is located in a gated community, therefore the location of the hotel (and many hotels nearby) are not authentic mexico. For that I would recommend going further inland.

Love this place and plan to stay again next time. Very clean, friendly staff. Everything working the it should. Available kayaks to the canal that takes us the the lagoon that is connected to the sea. Very unique place. Our host Alessandra is the best, treated us like part of the family. Took us on a ride on her own electric car. Thank you!!

Great place, walking distance to the beach, but you'll need a car, golf cart, or bicycle to get around. It's three kilometers to the nearest grocery store just the other side of the highway. You could walk it but I wouldn't want to walk back with groceries in hot sun.

Everything about this place is great. Super clean, big bed, nice shower, spacious room, fancy air conditioning, lots of tv channels and Netflix, friendly staff, beautiful location walking distance to the beach. Feels safe too, there is a security post guarding the entrance to the little tourist village its in. Only thing I don't like is that there is a coffee maker in the room but no coffee.
